Our Team

Andrea Erickson

Andrea is the founder of Ice Advantage Hockey Clinic and a proud hockey mom of two—one goalie entering Peewees and one skater entering 10U. After searching for summer training opportunities for her kids in 2025, Andrea quickly realized that the available clinics required extensive travel in opposite directions and offered limited individualized instruction.

Wanting something better for her own children—and for other families like hers—Andrea created Ice Advantage with the goal of providing focused, high-quality training close to home. Her passion for the sport, commitment to player development, and belief in building confidence both on and off the ice are the foundation of everything Ice Advantage represents.

Founder

Mike Moline

Mike Moline has been shaping young goalies for over two decades. A lifelong hockey enthusiast, Mike was the starting goalie for North St. Paul High School, including starting in the 1981 Minnesota State Hockey Tournament, and earned honors such as All-Conference, Team MVP, and a spot on the All-State Team of the Week during his senior year. He was a walk-on goalie for the University of Minnesota – Duluth in 1981–82 and was inducted into the North St. Paul High School Hall of Fame in 2014.

With 21 years coaching high school girls’ goalies and 20 years as the owner and operator of FUNdamentals Goalie Clinics, Mike combines deep expertise with a genuine love for working with kids. Passionate about teaching goalies, he emphasizes hard work, attention to the little things, and, most importantly, having fun on the ice.

Over the past 19 years, Mike has been actively involved in Minnesota hockey programs, helping players grow not only their skills, but also their confidence and love for the game.

Goalie Coach

Hockey has been part of Corey’s life since he first stepped on the ice at the age of two. That early love for the game grew into a playing career that included Minnesota Select and Premier teams, followed by high school hockey at South St. Paul.

Today, Corey brings that same passion to the bench and the ice as both a coach and mentor. He is the Director of Girl Power Hockey, working alongside his mother, Barb Yackel, and continuing the player-first coaching philosophy passed down from his grandfather, Ken Yackel. For Corey, hockey is about more than skills—it’s about confidence, work ethic, and helping players believe in themselves.

Known for his positive, clear teaching style, Corey excels at connecting with young athletes and creating an environment where players feel supported, challenged, and motivated. His approach focuses on strong fundamentals, smart decision-making, and encouraging players to work together as a team.

At Ice Advantage, Corey is excited to help skaters grow their game, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for hockey—both on and off the ice.
